February 24, 2026—Today, Regina Public Schools made a groundbreaking announcement relating to the future of our elementary music programming and the rejuvenation of the former Dieppe School in the Dieppe Place neighbourhood.

We are excited to see innovative elementary music programming starting in the new school year, September 2026. We encourage you to read this document for more details.

FEBRUARY 23, 2026—Pink Shirt Day is an annual observation that takes place on the last Wednesday of February and this year, it falls on Wednesday, February 25^th. People wear pink shirts to signify they stand against bullying and harassment. The day started in Canada and is now observed on various dates around the world!

FEBRUARY 20, 2026—Regina Public Schools publishes a monthly newsletter that celebrates the accomplishments of students and staff; reports on significant events, programs and community involvement; and highlights the activities that demonstrate our Shared Values of respect, belonging, knowledge and responsibility.

FEBRUARY 12, 2026—Wishing everyone a safe, fun and relaxing Family Day and week off of school from February 16th to 20th.

From Tuesday, February 17th to Friday, February 20th, Division Office will be open from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (and closed over the noon hour as usual). Regular hours and school classes will resume on Monday, February 23, 2026.
