March Out Racism

MARCH 20, 2023 -- March 21st is the International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination. It is a day observed all around the world to focus attention on the issues of racism (personal and systemic), oppression, bias, white privilege, colonization, racial inequity/injustice, and truth and reconciliation. Canada was one of the first countries to support the UN initiative and launched its first annual campaign against racial discrimination in 1989.

An important aspect of fostering healthy and respectful relationships is embracing diversity in all its forms. We need to recognize and reject racism to create welcoming and inclusive communities.

International Women's Day

MARCH 7, 2023 -- March is Women's History Month, and International Women's Day is celebrated around the world each year on March 8th. The month and day are to recognize the achievements of women and girls, to focus on gender bias and inequality, and to continue creating a more inclusive society.

Let's all work together for a brighter future for everyone!
