Regina Fire & Protective Services Event for Women and Girls

MAY 22, 2025—Regina Fire & Protective Services (RFPS) will be hosting a career event for girls/women 14 years and older on Saturday, May 31, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at the Regina training facility (1205 Ross Avenue).

These FREE sessions will provide an in-depth look at both the benefits of a career in the fire service and the requirements to achieve the position of firefighter. These sessions are designed for participants to interact with women working within the industry who can provide firsthand knowledge of what it takes to be a firefighter with RFPS. Participants will also participate in some of the different scenarios firefighters are trained in. This can range from utilizing the jaws to remove a car door, to entering a house filled with smoke (this is all done in a safe manner, supervised by training and firefighter staff).

To register, individuals can fill out their information here.
