MARCH 31, 2021 -- UPDATED -- Regina Public Schools employees make the difference in the lives and the futures of all of our students. A smile from a child, a “thank you” from a parent or a “great job!” from a colleague are signs of how you are contributing in small and in big ways to the Regina community and its citizens.
MARCH 24, 2021 -- UPDATED -- Thanks to funding from the federal government, five Regina Public schools will be able to complete Climate Action Incentive Fund (CAIF) projects. Lighting upgrades to LED, as well as some improved lighting control systems, are proceeding at Campbell Collegiate, Campus Regina Public, Winston Knoll Collegiate, Thom Collegiate and Thomson Community School. The Climate Action Incentive Fund (CAIF) is an Environment and Climate Change Canada program.

March 22, 2021 -- On Friday, March 19th, Regina Public Schools announced that it would be moving to temporary remote learning, otherwise known as Level 4, effective March 24th for high schools and March 29th for elementary schools. All in-school classes are scheduled to resume on April 12, 2021. Please note that the scheduled Spring Break is from April 2nd to April 9th.
A letter from Director of Education Greg Enion will be sent to all school families on Monday, March 22, 2021 detailing this decision. Any questions should be directed to individual schools.
MARCH 22, 2021 -- To coincide with the International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination (March 21st) and in support of the Regina Multicultural Council's Embracing Differences project, Adam Hicks, Chairperson of the Regina Board of Education, presents greetings on behalf of Regina Public Schools.
The project is generously funded by Canadian Heritage, SaskCulture and SaskLotteries, as well as the Multicultural Council of Saskatchewan.
March 19, 2021 -- Regina Public Schools, in consultation and with the support of Regina Medical Health Officers is announcing that it is moving to Level 4, temporary remote learning.
School families will receive letters and more information on Monday, March 22nd.
MARCH 15, 2021 -- March 21st is designated by the United Nations (UN) as the International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination to focus on respect, equality and diversity.
It’s a day observed all around the world to focus attention on the problems of racism and the need to promote racial harmony. The UN made this designation in 1966 to mark a tragic event that took place on March 21, 1960 in Sharpeville, South Africa when 69 peaceful demonstrators were killed during a protest against apartheid.
Canada was one of the first countries to support the UN initiative and launched its first annual campaign against racial discrimination in 1989.
MARCH 29, 2021 – Updated -- Regina Public Schools is now providing remote learning for the 2020-21 school year. eSchool – Regina Public Schools Online Learning is for students who require an alternative way of learning outside of a school classroom during the COVID-19 pandemic.

MARCH 10, 2021 -- WorkSafe Saskatchewan and the Saskatchewan Workers' Compensation Board (WCB) invite students in Grades 9 to 12 to create a two-minute video about workplace health and safety. The theme "Focus on safety" must be used. Prizes range from $500 to $1,500.
The contest closes on Thursday, April 8, 2021 at 4:00 p.m.
