Never Give Up!

MAY 4, 2021 -- The Saskatchewan Sports Hall of Fame, in partnership with SaskTel, is once again offering the "Never Give Up" program. This year's program will be for Grades 4 to 8 students and will be virtual via Zoom. The focus will be on the subject of identity and will showcase how sport contributes to the identity of self and others. It will also highlight Saskatchewan athletes who have made significant contributions to self and society.

Presenters will include world-class runner and Regina Public Schools Trustee Ted Jaleta and Paralympians Lisa Franks and Colette Bourgonje. Presentations will take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1:00 to 1:45 p.m. from May 18th to June 24th.

Introducing Edsby

May 4, 2021 -- Regina Public Schools is excited to introduce Edsby to all staff, students and parents/guardians. Edsby is a comprehensive digital learning platform that will replace the PowerSchool Parent Portal this summer. Parents/guardians will be able to use Edsby to keep up with what’s happening with their children at school and to remain active in the education of their children.

Métis Floral Beadwork Paintings

MAY 3, 2021 -- The two Grades 7/8 classes at Wilfred Hunt School recently participated in a Métis floral beadwork painting assignment.

All of Hunt’s classes are currently creating wonderful Indigenous-themed/inspired artwork that will be displayed throughout the school to demonstrate their gained knowledge of and appreciation for the culture of Indigenous peoples.
