Scott Police Academy

MARCH 2, 2020 -- The Scott Police Academy is a partnership between Regina Public Schools and Regina Police Service. The academy provides students with the opportunity to be part of a high school learning experience led by teachers and police officers. It will give students an understanding of law enforcement by expert speakers, adapted classroom material and experiences...all while learning.

SCC Forum 2020

JANUARY 29, 2020 -- A School Community Council forum will be held on Wednesday, February 26, 2020 at 7:00 p.m. at the Regina Public School Division Office (1600 4th Avenue). If you wish to attend, please RSVP to leanne.wall@rbe.sk.ca by February 25th.

Diversity Committee Formed

January 17, 2020 – Following a commitment from the Board of Education, a Regina Public Schools Special Committee for Diversity has been created. The purpose of this Committee is to guide and inform existing Regina Public Schools administrative procedures, practices and school-based activities related to issues of diversity.

Membership for this committee has been selected. Members include representatives of the Regina community, Regina Public Schools parents, a representative of UR Pride, Regina Public Schools in-school administration and teachers, and school division administration. The composition of the membership was designed to ensure that each member brings with them personal and professional experiences and perspective, as well as a willingness to collaborate.

Attendance Matters

JANUARY 8, 2020 -- Did you know that missing too much school can impact a child's ability to read? Regular school attendance is so important that we're working with United Way Regina, Regina Catholic Schools and other community partners to spread the news.
