JANUARY 31, 2025—February is Inclusive Education Month in Canada. Inclusive Education Month seeks to highlight inclusive educational practices, provide opportunities for educators, students and families to share their experiences and to acknowledge the commitment of those who contribute to the successful inclusion of students in schools.

African-Canadian Black History Month

JANUARY 31, 2025—During the month of February, Regina Public Schools proudly recognizes African-Canadian Black History Month. It is an occasion to celebrate the many achievements and contributions of people with African heritage and their communities. This month also provides an opportunity to continue learning about the wide range of African Canadian experiences, including dealing with racism, and the vital role this community has played throughout our shared history.

The 2025 theme for African-Canadian Black History Month is "Black Legacy and Leadership: Celebrating Canadian History and Uplifting Future Generations."

January 28, 2025 -- Public Schools of Saskatchewan has aired a new radio advertisement on the Rawlco radio network (CJME/CKOM).

Public Schools of Saskatchewan, otherwise known as The Public Section of the Saskatchewan School Boards Association (SSBA) is a voice of advocacy for public school divisions in Saskatchewan. It is committed to ensuring that public school divisions across the province are of the highest quality, strongly supported by the students, parents and educational partners of Saskatchewan. The Public Section is committed to achieving a level playing field within the Saskatchewan educational environment so that issues deemed important by Public Section members are given a high priority by the SSBA Executive, government and educational partners.
