Board Chair Tara Molson said, “We are very pleased to welcome Mr. Miller back to Regina Public Schools. Working closely with the Board, his leadership will focus on developing a new, multi-year, Division-wide strategic plan that will position our students and staff for success in the years ahead. Key priorities will include our relationships with Indigenous people, mental health and well-being, and diversity and inclusion for all, leading to academic achievement and personal development for the students we serve.”

“Returning to RPS is an incredible opportunity, for which I am very grateful. Now is the time for me to work with a Board that has a strong vision for the future. As part of a dedicated team of educators, I plan to use my previous experience as a Deputy Minister to work collaboratively and decisively to focus on the needs of all our students. Everyone in the Division has a role to play in that future success. I hope you will join with me to make that vision a reality,” said Miller.

The Board would like to acknowledge and thank Greg Enion for his 40 years of service and dedication to Regina Public Schools including the past seven years as Director of Education. Mr. Enion’s depth of experience in our Division, his kindness and professionalism have served the students, families, staff, and Boards of Regina Public Schools well. He will be an integral part of the transition in the Director’s office in the coming months. We wish Mr. Enion all the best in a well-earned retirement, with health and happiness for him and his family.

On behalf of the Board, congratulations to Mr. Miller, best wishes to Mr. Enion, and thank you to each Regina Public School Division employee for your commitment, skill and dedication in our schools, classrooms, and offices.
