Ally Sulea and Courteney Dawnson are dedicated leaders on the Ruth M. Buck School Community Council (SCC). After eight years of fundraising, they now have a beautiful playground the school and larger Normanview West community can enjoy!
Fundraisers included raffle baskets, coin drives and craft sales. SCC members spent countless hours applying for community grants to help support this project. They were successful with the KalTire Replay Grant and received $20,000 toward the playground. Thanks to their community involvement and partnerships, Wingert Construction donated their equipment to complete the preparation for the worksite.
