Students! #TakeBackYourYear

APRIL 30, 2020 -- Regina Public Schools and school divisions across the province are encouraging students to re-engage with learning while schools and classrooms are closed during the Covid-19 pandemic.

The #TakeBackYourYear campaign invites teachers, staff, students, families, and community members to share the hashtag on social media along with their own stories of success and encouragement for one another during these challenging and uncertain times.

Update for all students and school families

March 18, 2020 -- Message from Director of Education, Greg Enion.

Over the past few days, our everyday routines of school, work and learning have been first disrupted and now cancelled. As many of us are parents, we too have had many of the feelings of uncertainty and concern.

The absence of information often creates anxiety. To keep all our school families informed. I would like to share some information that your school division does have. Please know that we do not yet have any information relating to what's next for students, especially those requiring credits, or who are graduating this year. My promise to you is that we will share this information, the moment we have it.

With respect to our schools:

Spring Break Ahead

April 9, 2020 -- We are still in the middle of physical distancing, but please remember that Spring Break is just ahead.

Teachers will not be contacting students or expecting assignments from Friday, April 10th to Monday, April 20th.

The school division office continues to be closed to the public, but will have limited staffing to answer email and telephone messages during this break.

Hopefully the weather may turn around and allow windows to be opened and backyards to be visited. If you do venture into the great outdoors, please remember all public health direction and let's keep each other well!

See you (virtually) on Monday, April 20th.

Supplemental Learning Plan for Students and Families

April 3, 2020 -- This week, students, parents and caregivers will receive an electronic copy of the Students and Families Supplemental Learning Plan from their schools. Here is an updated version!

Please take the time to have a read. Teachers will also start contacting students and families this week.

We look forward to hearing from you and, like all students, learning something new!
