Also, due to multiple cases of COVID-19 reported in the:

  • Grade 7/8 A classroom at W.F. Ready School, that class will transition to remote learning on Wednesday, January 19th. Students will return to school on Monday, January 31st, if they are feeling well and are symptom-free.
  • Grade 7/8 classroom at Albert Community School, that class will transition to remote learning on Wednesday, January 19th. Students will return to school on Monday, January 31st, if they are feeling well and are symptom-free.
  • Grade 4 classroom at École Massey School, that class will transition to remote learning on Wednesday, January 19th. Students will return to school on Monday, January 31st, if they are feeling well and are symptom-free.
  • Kindergarten A classroom at École W.S. Hawrylak School, that class will transition to remote learning on Wednesday, January 19th. Students will return to school on Monday, January 31st, if they are feeling well and are symptom-free.
  • Grades 4A and 7/8 B classrooms at McLurg School, those classes will transition to remote learning on Wednesday, January 19th. Students will return to school on Monday, January 31st, if they are feeling well and are symptom-free.
  • Grade 6/7 classroom at W.H. Ford School, that class will transition to remote learning on Wednesday, January 19th. Students will return to school on Monday, January 31st, if they are feeling well and are symptom-free.
  • Grade 2 French Immersion at École Wascana Plains School, that class will transition to remote learning on Wednesday, January 19th. Students will return to school on Monday, January 31st, if they are feeling well and are symptom-free.
  • Added 5:30 p.m. Grade 6/7 at École Dr A.E. Perry School, that class will transition to remote learning on Wednesday, January 19th. Students will return to school on Monday, January 31st, if they are feeling well and are symptom-free.

Individuals who may be considered as close contacts have been informed and this information will be posted on individual school websites and on Twitter.

If there are any future close contacts identified at the school, they will be contacted.

Students are asked to seek medical advice and not to attend school if feeling unwell or showing any symptoms. As a potential close contact, the Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) would strongly recommend children take a Rapid Antigen Test, which are available to families at schools or at locations in the community
