December 17, 2026, 2:45 p.m - Due to anticipated storm conditions developing in southern Saskatchewan, Regina Public Schools is taking the precautionary step to cancel all after school, extra-curricular activities, and field trips. Scheduled community events held in school buildings will be at the discretion of the organizers.
Following the end of the school day on Wednesday, December 17, all Regina Public schools will be closed for the evening.
It is anticipated that all student transportation and school operations will return to normal on Thursday morning, December 18.
If there are any changes, school families will be contacted directly through usual direct channels, including Edsby and automated phone messaging, as well as web and social media posts. Please also check with Regina-area news media who will be informed in the event transportation or school opening changes.
