MAY 1, 2026—Every year since 1951, the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA) has hosted Mental Health Week in the first full week of May. This year, CMHA Mental Health Week will be held from May 4th to 10th.
This year's theme is "Come Together, Canada: Stronger connections, better mental health." This year's campaign focuses on combating loneliness and strengthening community belonging through small, everyday actions of connections. It highlights the essential role of social connection in mental well-being.
The CMHA Mental Health Week website includes toolkits of information and resources for schools, workplaces and day-to-day interactions.
