DECEMBER 16, 2019 -- Sheldon-Williams Collegiate is proud to present a high school production of the timeless classic, The Wizard of Oz.
This year marks not only the 80th anniversary of the enduring musical comedy but also the inception of a cutting-edge academic program at Sheldon-Williams Collegiate (SWC).
More than 75 SWC Spartans from Grades 9 through 12 participate in a two-hour class devoted to the production of a musical. Led by teacher-directors Krista McDivitt, Sarah Keefe, Brit Peters and Brianna Levesque, students are challenged to explore the myriad diverse elements of production.

NOVEMBER 22, 2019 -- Last year, the Creating Successful Outcomes Recognition Program was launched and a number of volunteers, past and present were honoured at a board meeting of the Regina Board of Education. This year, the Board has renamed the volunteer recognition program to better reflect its purpose and to align with Regina Public Schools Shared Values. The program has been renamed The Community Values Award.
The Community Values Award continues to be intended to provide recognition to school division volunteers who have, over the years, dedicated time, energy and personal resources to help create successful outcomes for Regina Public Schools students.
NOVEMBER 22, 2019 -- Regina Public Schools employees and those who work at our schools make the difference in the lives and the futures of all of our students. A smile from a child, a “Thank you” from a parent or a “Great job!” from an employer is proof of how we are contributing to the Regina community.
A true indicator of merit, however, is peer and community recognition. Twelve years ago, the Regina Board of Education introduced the Shared Values Recognition Program. Since that time, many exceptional staff members who have most exemplified the Shared Values were recognized and honoured.
NOVEMBER 19, 2019 -- Pride in Action...Stand Up will gather together elementary Gender and Sexuality Alliance (GSA) students and allies from across Regina Public Schools as a show of support and unity for all those who may be struggling to feel confident and proud of themselves and the work they do as leaders in our school communities.
OCTOBER 30, 2019 -- Lori Milligan, Regina Public Schools' Program Manager for Outdoor Environmental Education, shares a lot of great stuff for teachers and can be heard on Saskatchewan in motion's podcast, "Wildness for Well Being."
OCTOBER 29, 2019 -- Regina Public Schools will host a post-graduation fair for ALL students on Wednesday, November 20, 2019 beginning at 6:30 p.m. at Campbell Collegiate. For more details, please see the poster below or CLICK HERE.
