SVRP Recipients Announced!

June 26, 2020 -- Congratulations to the SVRP Recipients!

Every year, Regina Public Schools honours and celebrates recipients of the Shared Values Recognition Program (SVRP). This year is no different. The Regina Board of Education has selected ten recipients for 2020.

These recipients were nominated in the 2019-20 school year by their colleagues, by students, by parents and by school community council members. They were selected by the Board because they exemplified the Shared Values: I am responsible; I want to know; I belong and I respect.

We Are Listening Again!

JUNE 12, 2020 -- Regina Public Schools invites students and their parents/caregivers to participate in a brief online survey.

The purpose of this survey is to gather feedback regarding Regina Public Schools' Supplemental Learning Plan. This survey asks you to reflect on your experience as a student learning from home or as a parent/caregiver supporting home learning.

Data from this survey will be used to inform planning for future models of home learning in case it is offered again at some point in time. The ultimate goal is to provide the best possible learning experiences for all students.

All responses are anonymous and no personal data is collected through this survey.

This survey will close Tuesday, June 30, 2020 at midnight.

Happy GSD Pride Month!

JUNE 4, 2020 -- Throughout Saskatchewan, June is known as Gender and Sexual Diversity Pride Month! It is a time when the world’s LGBTQ2S+ communities and allies come together to celebrate acceptance, human rights and diversity.

In Regina Public Schools, it is important that we demonstrate our Shared Values that include belonging and respect. As a school division, we are committed to ensuring that schools and workplaces are inclusive and protected environments where LGBTQ2S+ staff, students, families and allies feel included, protected and respected.

Spring Break Ahead

April 9, 2020 -- We are still in the middle of physical distancing, but please remember that Spring Break is just ahead.

Teachers will not be contacting students or expecting assignments from Friday, April 10th to Monday, April 20th.

The school division office continues to be closed to the public, but will have limited staffing to answer email and telephone messages during this break.

Hopefully the weather may turn around and allow windows to be opened and backyards to be visited. If you do venture into the great outdoors, please remember all public health direction and let's keep each other well!

See you (virtually) on Monday, April 20th.
