Orange Shirts Available for Purchase

AUGUST 9, 2022 -- The National Day for Truth and Reconciliation/Orange Shirt Day is on Friday, September 30, 2022. It is a day to acknowledge Canada's colonial history and the legacy of residential schools.

Regina Public schools will be closed on September 30th to honour the lost children and survivors of residential schools, their families and communities. Public commemoration of the tragic and painful history and ongoing impacts of residential schools is a vital component of the reconciliation process.

SVRP Recipients for 2022 Announced

June 17-2022 -- On behalf of the Regina Board of Education and Regina Public Schools Administration, congratulations to the recipients of the 2022 Shared Values Recognition Program Award. Ten Regina Public Schools employees/partners have been chosen because they have exemplified the Shared Values: I am responsible; I want to know; I belong; and, I respect.

They were nominated by someone in their school and/or work community and chosen by the Selection Committee comprised of the Board of Trustees. To honour all the recipients, a reception and brief ceremony will be held in the Fall of 2022.

Thank you to the recipients for being a leader among your peers by demonstrating the values that form the fundamental beliefs that guide Regina Public Schools.

Early Childhood Education Month

MAY 3, 2022 -- May has been proclaimed Early Childhood Education Month in Saskatchewan. This month reminds us that positive experiences for young children continue to help them throughout their lives with quality early year's programs and initiatives.

May 11th is Early Childhood Educator Appreciation Day. Thank you to all of the amazing and hard-working Early Childhood Educators who teach, support and build strong relationships with children and their families! You make a positive difference in the futures of our youngest students by helping to build the foundation for a successful education and the social, emotional, cognitive and physical wellbeing of children.
